Our Room and DIY Headboard

My husband Charlie is amazing! Not only is he a handyman, he's also very creative. Our room was in need of a little TLC. The salmon color and bare walls weren't are cup of tea. So we painted the walls grey and the dressers a burnt orange color, but it was still missing something. Then Charlie suggested making a headboard and if you know anything about my husband, you know that once he has an idea, there's no stopping him. Take a look at the process and finished product. I can't believe how awesome it turned out and all for about $50!

Our bookshelf was taking up too much space so he also made corner shelves to fit over the windows. :)

Bought the dressers from Ikea for $100 and the stain for $6! I love how they turned out!
